This is what also drew many players to keep playing Iceborne, so it is likely sad for fans to see some of them being permanently removed from the title. This can be seen in the new events released for Monster Hunter Rise, as well as the continuous addition of new monsties in Wings of Ruin. But endgame also includes Capcom releasing DLC and collaboration quests with other popular titles. Most Monster Hunter players would likely agree that most of the endgame content in the series revolves around gearing up, and facing powered-up versions of monsters found in the game.
Now, Capcom has announced that several of Iceborne event quests will be removed from the game, specifically the collaborations between the Monster Hunter movie and the Assassin's Creed series. The company released two titles this year alone, Monster Hunter Rise and Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, so it is understandable that the developer focus would be on these popular Nintendo Switch titles. It has been a long time since Capcom gave any updates about its previous title Monster Hunter World Iceborne.
